Are you ready for your trip?
It is highly recommended that travel insurance be purchased. The most comprehensive plan is the Deluxe Package. It will cover both medical and trip interruption/cancellation. Many people are under the assumption that personal credit cards and employment travel insurance will cover them while traveling abroad. Often times this is not the case! Please read your policies very carefully and confirm with your insurance provider that you are covered in the event of an unforeseen medical emergency or trip interruption. Travel with peace of mind knowing that you will not have to worry about a thing. In the event medical assistance is required abroad, RBC Insurance will pay medical expenses upfront. Often times with personal insurance policies clients have to pay upfront and submit a claim upon their return to Canada. This can quickly add up to thousands of dollars.
Ask yourself a few questions:
1) Would you be covered for a return flight in the event your trip had to be cut short due to an illness or death in the family back home?
2) Would you be able to pay for essentials such as clothing, toiletries and other necessities if your luggage was lost?
3) Are you in a financial position to potentially pay thousands of dollars upfront should you require medical assistance while traveling?
